Goochland 2022 - Year in Review

The Goochland market remained strong in comparison to other central Virginia Counties in late 2022, posting year over year increases while quarter over quarter was relatively flat. Like much of the region, construction built in 2020-2022 is experiencing price pressure as cost of materials decline in comparison to this historically high period.

As a result of this, the area of Goochland with more new construction (Randolf Elementary in the eastern portion) was the only are to show decline at the end of 2022). Additionally, affordable homes in the region have resisted declines - these can more often be seen in the western portion of Goochland.
